Halal Wedding Catering in Houston
Looking for halal wedding catering near you? Savory Homemade Cuisine cooks Pakistani wedding catering from scratch for mehndis, nikahs, barats and walimas across Houston and Rosharon. Every dish is 100% zabihah, cooked in small batches on the day, and delivered hot to your venue.

Pakistani Wedding Catering, Cooked Fresh on the Day
A wedding menu is not the place for reheated trays. Our halal wedding caterers cook every dish the morning of your event, in small batches, with masalas we grind ourselves. That is the difference guests notice between homemade biryani and the mass-produced version.
We build wedding menus around what your families actually eat, whether that is Punjabi, Karachi-style or a mix. Popular choices include Peshawari karahi, nihari, qorma and chargrilled chapli kabab. See the full catering range or our halal catering page.
Wedding Events We Cater
Most families book us for more than one function. Tell us the full schedule and we will price the whole wedding together rather than event by event.
Mehndi and Dholki
Colorful, casual food for a long evening. Kabab platters, rolls, chaat-style sides and sweet dishes that work while guests move around and dance.
Nikah and Barat
The formal sit-down meal. Biryani, two or three mains, vegetarian dishes, naan, raita and dessert, served as a full hot buffet with setup at your venue.
Walima Reception
Larger headcounts and a richer menu. We scale to 300 guests or more with the same from-scratch cooking, and we time delivery around your reception schedule.
Wedding Catering Prices by the Tray
Wedding catering is priced by the tray. A full tray feeds roughly 18 to 22 guests as one dish on a multi-dish menu, so a 200-guest walima usually needs 9 to 11 full trays across four or five dishes plus rice, bread and dessert.
Serving Houston and Rosharon
Our kitchen is at 203 Murrieta Ln, Rosharon, TX 77583. We deliver across Rosharon and the greater Houston area and set the buffet up on arrival.

Why Houston Families Choose Our Halal Wedding Caterers
Families across Houston and Rosharon book us because the food is always fresh and 100% halal. We cook from scratch with hand-ground spices and never use frozen shortcuts, so a 200-guest walima tastes the same as a home-cooked dinner. You deal directly with the people cooking your food, not a call center. See our menu or request a free quote.
Planning the Menu and Headcount
Most couples over-order for the barat and under-order for the mehndi. As a working guide, plan one main and one rice portion per adult guest, add a vegetarian dish for every four guests, and count two to three kababs per person if BBQ is on the menu. For a 200-guest walima that usually means four or five mains, two vegetarian dishes, biryani, naan, raita and one or two desserts.
Elders and younger guests tend to eat very differently, so we usually suggest one mild dish alongside the richer mains. If your families come from different regions, a split menu works better than a compromise: Punjabi-style qorma next to a Karachi-style biryani keeps everyone happy.
Venue matters too. If your hall has no warming facilities, we time delivery to your serving slot rather than your start time, and we bring the trays hot and ready to serve. Tell us the venue rules when you request a quote, because some Houston halls require outside caterers to load in through a service entrance at a fixed time.
